House Rules
We are delighted to host your stay and want our guests to have a transformative experience with us, which is why in addition to holding space for you, it's equally important all guests are aware of our house rules.
OUR HOUSE IS ON A SEPTIC
Which means; NO food scraps, solids, toiletries, condoms, or feminine products flushed down the toilet or sinks.
WE DO NOT USE BLEACH OR CHEMICAL CLEANERS
Please DO NOT wipe dirt or the bottom of your shoes on white towels.
Our cleaning team manually scrubs each stain off our towels by hand. To offer a solution, we have provided BLACK towels for you, in case you've come back from a hike and need a good clean. Black towels are located in the laundry room cabinets along with extra bedsheets.
BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THE FIRE PLACE & PIT
To learn how to use our indoor fireplace, please refer to our house manual (on the console right when you walk in) Fire pit outside should be only used during burn season. Please refer to this link to see when burn season is.
COMMUNICATE WITH US
If anything breaks at all during your, PLEASE let us know immediately. This helps us order the broken items ASAP in time for the next guest.
IN REGARDS TO TRASH
Extra housekeeping charges will apply if our home is left in an excessively messy/dirty state. Please clean up after yourselves and treat our home like it's yours.

TREAT OUR HOME LIKE IT'S YOURS
Trash can/bins are located about 0.3 - 0.5 miles as you drive towards the main road from the house. You will see around 8 trash bins and ours is marked 601. If you want to dispose your trash, that is where it's located. OR you can feel free to leave trash bags in the GARAGE and our cleaning crew will take care of it. Unfortunately, trash collection trucks can't make it down our hill.
*** If you have more than 3 bags of trash, please bring it to the trash bins up the road by the mailboxes. DO NOT leave more than 3 bags of trash in the garage ***
